Slapp Happy
MUSIC
Avant-garde pop band, formed 1972 in Hamburg, Germany, relocated to England in 1974, where they worked with Henry Cow for two albums. In 1975, singer Dagmar Krause officially joined that band, while the other two members of Slapp Happy quit. Briefly reunited in 1997.

Originally recorded in 1973 in Germany with Faust. Slapp Happy's label at the time, Polydor, refused to release the album, so the band moved to England and re-recorded it for Richard Branson's fledgling Virgin label, where it was a success. The original mix was finally released in 1980 as Acnalbasac Noom:
