Crime thriller follows a Los Angeles S.W.A.T. team's attempt to transport an insanely wealthy drug lord promising a lucrative reward for his release from custody.

ABSTRACT
Based on characters by Robert Hamner. Adapated from a 1970s television series of the same name, S.W.A.T. follows a Los Angeles police force's attempt to repair their public image following a badly-bungled hostage situation some time earlier by assembling a team designed to restore honor to their department. The newly-formed S.W.A.T. team's first assignment is to safely transport a sought-after international drug lord into the hands of federal authorities, a tough job made even tougher by the kingpin's offer of a cool $100,000,000 to anyone willing to free him from custody by any means necessary.
