Over the Hedge (29-Apr-2006)

Directors: Tim Johnson; Karey Kirkpatrick Writer: (Many) Keywords: Juvenile/Comedy An anthropomorphic con-artist raccoon leads a gang of animals in raiding food discarded by recently-arrived suburban sprawl.
ABSTRACT A gang of computer-animated rambunctious forest creatures exit their annual period of hibernation to find a new suburban housing development existing perilously close to their beloved woods, complete with wasteful upper-middle class humans discarding large amounts of food. Emboldened by traveling raccoon huckster RJ, the group -- led by a turtle named Verne -- declares open season on human refuse, embarking on a journey to scavenge for precious food while avoiding their new neighbors all along the way.
