REVIEWS

Review by Bix (posted on 6-Apr-2005)

I first saw Hatari in 1962 with my wife and our 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter. My wife and I just happen to be watching it again today (4/6/05) on a DVD. The movie is about a group of 5 men and 2 women who are capturing wild animals in Africa to be shipped to zoos.

It is a very entertaining movie with good acting and great action scenes in Africa. It is produced and directed by Howard Hawks, with original music by Henry Mancini.

They don't make movies like this any more. Starring John Wayne and Red Buttons.
