Where do I start? I barely saw this movie for the first time last night and damn did I love this movie. All the love, the connection between family, the deep thought and emotion of these movie just moved me. Ive NEVER in my life seen anything like this. I love the way the movie flipped at the end and Lisa got married with the type of man, her mother wanted for Vanessa, not to mention, the dream wedding that was intended for Vanessa. But Lisa had, she deserved everything she got at the end. I just loved this movie; I am going to recommend it to all my family and friends. There has never been a movie that has gotten me angry, upset, sad, happy (Madea took in a foster child), and especially emotional all at once. I cried and laughed at the same time. I cant stop thinking of this movie. All the great points and situations all in one movie, was awesome. The abusive husband, the MOTHER that showed her hatred towards one daughter, and not the other. The family all coming together!... This is one movie Im going to see over and over and over again, and not get bored of it. One great thing I loved of this movie was the deep feelings everyone expressed to one another! There are lots of sub-messages and lessons that we should all use in our daily lives. I cant ask for such a moving movie like this one, I fall in love with the characters, and the acting was so heart touching. Lisa especially got into her character so well. Bravo to her!!! She is who made me feel the movie more than anyone. She showed such emotion and hurt. Great Movie, you can count on me to watch all the rest of Tyler Perrys other movies, past present and future films! Excellent Job!

This is a well made movie that interweaves between the lives of two couples, both Madea's nieces, while hovering around Madea and her court-ordered charge of an undesired foster child. The movie draws comparisons between love for money and genuine agape love. The character's really keep things moving and the tension between some of them is gut wrenching. Lisa Anderson's plays the niece that was raped by step-father which her mother helped to facilitate. Her sister is in a violent and abusive relationship with a fiancé' who's in cahoots with both girls mother. Lisa's acting was above all other's moving and brought a few tears to my eyes as she relayed the pain and the joy her character experiences through it. This is a movie that tries to relay the message that there is a proper way to live and act and that we need to rely on a higher authority than ourselves to achieve that. There were a few sections that moved a bit slow for me, but overall I will be watching this movie again. There are lots of sub-messages and lessons we can all use in our daily lives to be more compassionate with and about one another.
