Calling this a movie isnt really true. Its just a concert, and a great one at that. This "movie" is just Nirvana playing in front of a crowd. With only acoustics and no distortion. When I heard of the idea I was skeptical. Then I watched it and was blown away. This has to be one of, if not their best, performance I have ever seen. This really shows you nirvana at their core. This performance includes songs like about a girl, come as you are, on a plain, something in the way, and all apologies. It also includes songs from the meat puppets, the Vaseline and David Bowie. The movie is about an hour and eight minutes with a few spots where they will stop to tune or change guitars. So you will be listening to music for most of the time. Over all this is an absolute perfect performance. Listening to the vocals of Kurt Cobain is an absolute joy. Hearing the pain in his voice, its so raw and awe inspiring. I would recommend this to anybody who is remotely into Nirvana or wants to be. Highest recommendations.
